happy b'day Lisa!

This card's winging its way to my niece for her birthday (pun intended) ... I love the red, white, black color combination (fyi, this card's white border pops in real life but disappears in my post) and learning new uses of punches, dies and stamp sets. This one used SU's Pick a Petal set to fashion wings, circle or oval punches for the bug's body, and brads for the antenae. Sweet, eh?! Many thanx to Crystal for this idea! Speaking of which, she's got another Christmas Card class coming up soon, and I've gotta sign up still!

stamps: SU's Curvy Verses, Pick a Petal; paper: SU's Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White; ink: StazOn's Jet Black; accessories: SU's Black Gingham, Real Red grosgrain ribbons, black brads
